Meet Our Founder

Pastor Taylor McKelphin

Pastor Taylor McKelphin is a pastor, community servant, leader, and the founder of Taylor’s Harvest, a faith-based nonprofit organization committed to serving people, restoring hope, and spreading the love of God throughout the community.

For Pastor Taylor, serving others is not simply an organization or a title—it is a calling.

With a heart for people and a deep desire to see others thrive, Pastor Taylor has dedicated her life to reaching people where they are, walking alongside them through difficult seasons, and helping them discover that their circumstances do not have to define their future.

In April 2024, Pastor Taylor founded Taylor’s Harvest out of a desire to put faith into action. What started with a heart to feed and serve the community has grown into an ongoing effort to provide meals, essential resources, encouragement, connections to employment and housing opportunities, prayer, and genuine community for people in need.

But Pastor Taylor believes the mission goes beyond meeting physical needs.

She believes people need to know that they are loved—not only by their community, but by God.

Through Taylor’s Harvest and her role as pastor of Push Church, Pastor Taylor works to create opportunities for people to encounter Jesus Christ in a way that is authentic, compassionate, and personal. Whether she is serving a meal, praying with someone on the street, encouraging someone who feels forgotten, or simply taking the time to listen, her goal is to let people know that God has not forgotten them.

Pastor Taylor’s heart is especially centered around helping people recognize their God-given potential.

She believes that a person’s past does not cancel their purpose. Their mistakes do not eliminate their future. Their circumstances do not determine their worth.

Sometimes people simply need someone willing to believe in them before they can believe in themselves.

That is the kind of leader Pastor Taylor strives to be.

Her approach to ministry and community service is built around love, compassion, faith, authenticity, and action. She believes that ministry should not be limited to a building or a Sunday service. Sometimes ministry looks like a hot meal. Sometimes it looks like helping someone find a job. Sometimes it looks like connecting someone to housing. Sometimes it looks like prayer. Sometimes it looks like simply sitting beside someone and reminding them that they matter.

Pastor Taylor believes that the church should be willing to go where the people are.

Through her leadership, Taylor’s Harvest continues to create spaces where people from all walks of life can come together without judgment. People are welcomed regardless of their appearance, background, mistakes, financial circumstances, or current season of life.

At the center of everything Pastor Taylor does is one simple belief:

People matter.

She believes that when we love people, serve people, and point people toward Christ, we can help create real transformation—not only in individuals, but throughout entire communities.

Pastor Taylor McKelphin is more than the founder of Taylor’s Harvest.

She is someone who believes in showing up.

Showing up for the hungry.

Showing up for the homeless.

Showing up for the hurting.

Showing up for people searching for a second chance.

Showing up for those who feel forgotten.

And most importantly, showing up to remind people of the love of Jesus Christ.

Her prayer is that through every meal served, every conversation shared, every resource provided, every prayer prayed, and every life touched, people would leave knowing one thing:

“I am loved. I have purpose. I am not forgotten. And God still has a plan for my life.”

That is the heart behind the founder.

That is the heart behind the ministry.

And that is the heart behind Taylor’s Harvest.
