Our Goals: Building a Future Where Everyone Has a Place
At Taylor’s Harvest, we believe that feeding someone is only the beginning. Our goal is not simply to meet people in their moment of need, but to walk alongside them as they rebuild their lives.
We envision a future where no one is forgotten, no one is ashamed to ask for help, and no one has to face homelessness, hunger, unemployment, or a lack of medical care alone.
🏠 The Freedom Found Center
One of our greatest goals is to establish our own Freedom Found Center in every city where Taylor’s Harvest is planted, beginning right here in Buffalo, New York.
The Freedom Found Center will be more than a homeless shelter. It will be a place of safety, dignity, restoration, and opportunity—a place where individuals and families experiencing homelessness can find temporary housing, meals, clothing, hygiene resources, support, and a pathway toward stability.
Our vision is to create an environment where people aren’t defined by their circumstances, but reminded of their potential.
💼 Housing & Employment Programs
We want to help people move beyond survival and toward independence.
Taylor’s Harvest plans to develop programs that connect individuals with housing resources, employment opportunities, job training, résumé assistance, life-skills development, and other resources designed to help them get back on their feet.
We believe that having a safe place to sleep is important—but having the tools and support to build a sustainable future is just as important.
🌱 The Taylor’s Harvest Community Farm
We dream of creating a Taylor’s Harvest Community Farm, a small-scale farm dedicated to growing fresh fruits, vegetables, and other foods for the community.
The farm would help provide access to fresh, nutritious food while also creating opportunities for education, community involvement, job training, and service.
Our goal is to not only give people food, but to help create sustainable resources that allow communities to grow and thrive together.
🏥 Compassionate Medical Care
Another major goal of Taylor’s Harvest is to establish a medical care center or hospital dedicated to serving people who are unhoused, underserved, or struggling to access quality healthcare.
Too many people delay seeking medical attention because they are afraid of the cost, ashamed of their circumstances, or feel like they will be judged.
We envision a place where people can receive medical care, treatment, referrals, preventative services, and compassionate support with dignity and without shame.
Because your circumstances should never determine whether you deserve to be cared for.
🌎 Expanding the Vision
Our dream starts in Buffalo, but it doesn’t end there.
As Taylor’s Harvest continues to grow, we want to establish these resources in every city where we are planted—creating communities of care where food, housing, employment, healthcare, education, and hope are accessible to those who need them most.
We know these goals are big. But we also believe that big problems require big vision, and meaningful change starts with someone being willing to believe that something better is possible.
This is more than a nonprofit. This is a movement toward restoration.
We are building a future where people don’t just survive—they have the opportunity to heal, rebuild, work, grow, and thrive.
Taylor’s Harvest. Feeding the hungry. Restoring hope. Building freedom.
